How to contact us

If you are already able to bid for advertised homes and have a question about the operation of the choice-based lettings scheme, please call 0300 456 0104 0900 hours to 1700 hours Monday to Friday.

If you want to make a new application to join the Housing Register, please call our Housing Solutions team on 0300 456 0106 9 am to 5 pm  Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (2 to 5 pm on Wednesdays).  Alternatively, you may use our contact form to make contact - click here to open new window or email housingadvice@wiltshire.gov.uk.  Please do not use the mailbox homes4wiltshire@wiltshire.gov.uk which no longer exists.

We ask customers not to visit the council's offices to discuss housing matters.  As Wiltshire is a large rural authority, where many people would have to travel a long distance to reach an office, ours is a phone and email based service.

Homeless or at risk of homelessness?

If you are homeless or threatened with homelessness, you will need to consider options other than social rented housing.  Social rented housing is in high demand and more immediate solutions like private rented accommodation are likely to be necessary to resolve your housing difficulties.  Wiltshire Council's homelessness service may be contacted via email at homeless@wiltshire.gov.uk or by telephone on 0300 456 0106.

Comments and complaints about our service

We are keen to hear about how we might improve the service.  If you have a comment or complaint about the service, please use our contact form (click to open), email at housingadvice@wiltshire.gov.uk or write to Housing Solutions, Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge BA14 8JN.
