Discounted sale means that, if you meet certain conditions, you may buy a home at a discount from the open market value.  The discount varies from scheme to scheme and there are minimum qualifying criteria for the scheme.  To qualify, you must –

• Have a connection to Wiltshire Council’s area via own residency for 2 years+, employment or close family member’s residency for 5 years+ (close family are parents, grandparents, adult siblings and adult children)

• Be unable to meet your own housing need in the marketplace ie unable to purchase a home of the appropriate size on the open market
